Yoga for Healthy Knees 

Date: Friday, 22 January 2016
Time: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
 
In this workshop the focus will be on knees. Poses to strengthen the knees and prevent knee pain will be taught. Classic poses will be modified so that students with knee pain can practice Yoga safely.

This session is not only for students who already have knees problems  but also for students who would like to learn how to keep their knees strong and healthy.
 
Teacher: Shobhna Chellaram

Cost: use two 90-minute class credits (from your eight-class 90-minutes package, four-class 90-minutes package, or Yoga Pass) or pay a drop in fee of $450.
 
About Shobhna Chellaram
 
Shobhna Chellaram has been a student of B.K.S. Iyengar for more than 25 years. Annually she spends months at a time in Pune to study at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI). She has lived and taught Iyengar Yoga in London, Hong Kong and Spain where she currently resides. Shobhna is also a trustee for Chellaram Charities, a group that works with diverse projects to support the less fortunate.
