Schedule of Specialty Classes

At our centre we have some programs and classes that we run once-a-month. Below is the schedule for these classes.

Restorative Yoga Fri. 29 Apr 7:00pm-9:00pm Theresa In this class, restorative Yoga poses are taught to induce relaxation and strengthen the immune state.
Poses For Menstruation Fri. 1 Apr 7:00pm-9:00pm Kitty In this 2 hour class, poses are taught for menstruation. These can help to reduce discomfort during menstruation, such as when there is headache, backache, abdominal cramps and fatigue. The poses also help to relax the muscles and nerves which are under constant stress, strain and irritation. Hormone balance and good health is also promoted by practicing poses specifically for menstruation.
Yoga For Healthy Shoulders Wed. 6 Apr 6:00pm-7:30pm Kitty The emphasis in this class is on the shoulders. Poses that increase mobility, flexibility and awareness of shoulder position will be taught. Everyone is welcome. 
Restorative & Pranayama Fri.  8 Apr 7:00pm-9:00pm George In this class poses to relax the body, nerves and mind will be taken before exploring breathing practices.
Led Practice: Level III Mon. 18 Apr 6:50am-8:20am Centre Teacher Experienced Iyengar Yoga students and teachers are invited to attend this led practice which we run once a month. This program is for students who are currently attending Level III classes.
Pranayama Wed. 27 Apr 6:00pm-7:30pm George This class explores the body's subtle energy, called "prana", through various breathing practices and techniques. This class is for all levels.
Self Practice Time Sun.  10 Apr 7:30am-9:30am Centre Teacher Once a month we run a self practice session. Come along and do your own personal practice amongst fellow students. Students of all levels are welcome. Click here for details.
