Yoga For Menopause

Iyengar Yoga can help to reduce discomfort during menopause, such as when there is headache, hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings and fatigue. The practice of Yoga can also help to relax the muscles and nerves which are under constant stress, strain and irritation. 


These sessions will be taught by guest teacher Shobhna Chellaram from India. 


This class is part of a two class series. Students are encouraged to attend both sessions. If this is not possible, partial attendance is possible.

Shobhna Chellaram has been a student of B.K.S. Iyengar for more than 25 years. Annually she spends months at a time in Pune to study at the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute (RIMYI). She has lived and taught Iyengar Yoga in London, Hong Kong and Spain where she currently resides. Shobhna is also a trustee for Chellaram Charities, a group that works with diverse projects to support the less fortunate.
Cost: Regular 2-hour class prices apply. Deduct a class from your 2-hours class package, deduct a class from your 90-minute class package and pay the “add on fee” of $70 or pay the drop in rate of $320
