Extending Backwards
Backward extensions are one category of āsana (postures) known as pūrva pratana sthiti or commonly as “backbends”. Backward extensions energise the nervous system.

Neck & Shoulders
In this class, poses that increase mobility, flexibility and awareness of neck and shoulders will be taught. These poses can help to improve the condition of the neck and shoulders and often help to reduce the incidence of headaches and other aches and pains around the neck and shoulders.

Anatomy Investigation
Anatomy Investigation is a yoga class where we will learn the names of various body parts, including bones and muscles — and most importantly where they are on our bodies.

Iyengar Yoga Intensive
The aim of the intensive is to study postures in greater depth — their different parts and their relationship to one another. This study not only develops a deeper understanding of the postures but a greater sense of awareness of yourself and the process of Yoga as a tool for self knowledge.

Working With Weights
Weights can be used in a variety of ways to help you get better openings in the postures.
Explore how to use sandbags and weight plates to move your practice along.

Step Into Level II
Have you been coming to Level I classes for some time and thinking about taking the next step of attending a higher level class?
In this class focus will be given to Level II postures — poses will be explored systematically: from the base to the top!

Restorative Yoga
Chronic stress has a negative effect on the human body. In this class, restorative Yoga poses are taught to induce relaxation and strengthen the immune state. Restorative Yoga poses will also regulate body functions and calm the mind.
